What do Nick Mullen, Judah Friedlander, and Dina Hashem have in common?
Plus, we have some stellar mics and new shows to announce!
Helloooooo NYC Cumedians!
I’m dropping in to give you the scoop on a couple of things.
The first - we have the Heckle Mic again tonight with Alex Babbit as our special guest. Alex is an incredibly quick-witted, hilarious comedian who’s been featured on HBO’s “All Def Comedy” and BET’s “Off the Ropes.” It’s going to be an incredible one tonight.
We also have a good amount of audience coming in, so it’s going to have that good OG heckle energy.
We do have a few spots left, so I’d reserve your spot on the show here.
NOTE: There will be no heckle mic next week (Thursday 5/23) due to Memorial Day.
Our next heckle mic will be on Thursday (5/30) with Matt Pavich as our special guest.
And now, on to the subject headline of this email…
What do Nick Mullen, Judah Friedlander, and Dina Hashem have in common?
They’re doing my show!
I’m teaming up with the super-talented Kate Willett and Mohanad Elshieky to produce a comedy fundraiser for Gaza. The show – Wednesday, May 22 at Revision Lounge – will benefit the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund with 100% of the proceeds donated to the humanitarian organization.
And our lineup is insane. Like reaaaalllllly INSANE.
Here’s who we also have on the show that night:
Nick Mullen
Judah Friedlander
Kareem Rahma
Dina Hashem
Lucas Zelnick
Atheer Yacoub
Since the show is a fundraiser, we’re limited in providing comp tickets for comedians who want to watch the show in the showroom. These comp tickets are only reserved for volunteers (for people interested in working the door, sound, etc).
We’re hoping to raise the most we can to help out the PCRF, so if you’d like to see the show and can purchase a ticket - please do so. We do expect the show to be sold out. We’ve already sold 75% of the tickets available. You can get your ticket here.
But of course, comics are always welcome and encouraged to hang out at the show. You’re welcome to hang out in the bar area, but depending on availability and space, we will be prioritizing people with paid tickets to enter the showroom.
So, we still hope to see you there!
That’s all for now!
See you soon,
Sarah Suzuki Harvard
